Let’s End Season 8 with a Bang!

Season 8 has been our best fundraising season ever — but we still need the help of old friends and new to make it our most successful financial season.

As you know, The Tampa Repertory Theatre presents plays old and new, with an emphasis on American drama. We believe in the experience of theatre — that theatre is the place we go to see how we live our lives in meaningful ways. For eight years, TampaRep has been creating high quality theatre designed to attract a multi-generational, culturally diverse audience in productions that are innovative, provocative, and classic.Even as we bring Season 8 to an end, we’re getting ready for our ninth season — and we need help in order to grow.

Our goals are simple — continue to bring thought-provoking entertainment to the Tampa Bay area with artists who receive a just compensation for their creativity and hard work and to find a permanent home so we can keep bringing live theatre to Tampa for generations to come.

As with most nonprofit theatre, less than 50% of our income comes from ticket sales, so we need the continued help of our generous, passionate donors – and from new community friends, as well, to raise the rest.
We want to:
Build a permanent home with a main stage space, a black box space, along with administrative and education facilities.
Pay all actors, stage management, directors, and designers a livable wage.
Expand our season to six shows.
Expand education programs including scholarships and outreach.
Expand our intern program.
Employ executive and administrative staff.
Become a nationally-known theatre company.
We know we can’t reach all those goals this season or next, but we want to keep moving toward them — and with your help, we can get there.  Please go to TampaRep.org/Donate and give whatever you can — truly, no gift is too small.

P.S.: If you prefer to donate by check, please send it to: The Tampa Repertory Theatre, 37330 Hickory Hill Lane, Dade City, FL 33525.
