We recognize the pain over the injustices our Black community members face every day.
We mourn the Black lives taken in violent, unforgivable acts of hatred – George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Aubrey, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and countless others.
ALL human beings deserve justice, equity, and compassion, and every one of us must speak up and be a part of the solution. We ALL have to stand together to eradicate systemic racism and prevent future incidents of this nature.
We love and embrace our local community of Black artists and share in your grief and outrage. We are listening and we are ready to take action with you.
We stand in solidarity with all Black people and communities of color, and we are adding our voices to amplify the voices of Black activists and organizations fighting for justice.
We must do better.
